Work orders now start with an AI-drafted checklist of tasks rather than line items. The flow is faster: AI analyzes the estimate scope, creates a prioritized task list, and you quickly assign each task to staff or a subtrade package—then drag to reorder. Each task stays linked to its source line items, so pricing and descriptions are preserved when you hand off to subtrades.
Once a work order is created, edit equipment and materials on the detail page instantly. Changes reflect immediately without a page reload; errors surface as non-blocking toasts. Destructive deletes require confirmation to prevent accidents.
Also fixed: cancelled work orders no longer block you from re-splitting an estimate into new work orders.
